Miami International Auto Show 2021, one of the nation’s premier auto expositions, has announced that its annual event will be held this October at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The announcement of the show’s move to October was made by Richard A. Baker, President of the South Florida Automobile Dealers Association.
“We are extremely optimistic that an October show will be a wonderful event for all South Floridians to enjoy,” said Baker. “They have supported our auto show for so many years and we look forward to welcoming them back later this year.”
Originally scheduled for February 2021, the auto show was initially postponed to this May. With its October dates, the Miami show returns to the fall where it has been held for nearly 50 years.
Baker added, “The Miami International Auto Show 2021 remains focused on providing a safe environment for exhibitors and attendees. The availability of a COVID-19 vaccine gives us added optimism that our October show will be well received.”
The South Florida Automobile Dealers Association has been the official sponsor of the Miami International Auto Show since 1971.
Today, the organization comprises more than 200 new car dealerships in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties.
